The two annual national events providing franchise legal education are the International Franchise Association’s Legal Symposium and the annual meeting of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising. The IFA Legal Symposium is normally held in May in Washington, DC, and ABA Forum meeting is held in October in a different city each year.
The Franchise Administrators Network was first organized as a small group in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and has become a national network for franchise paralegals as well as franchise contract administrators who work in a business department rather than a law firm or legal department.
